Jon Connally
Global Teen Challenge MAPS Director

Jon Connally serves as the Global Teen Challenge MAPS Director, providing supervision to the MAPS construction at Teen Challenge centers around the world.

Since 1986 Jon has been a part of over 50 MAPS construction trips to various parts of the world.  Since 2000 he has been serving in Men's Ministry and MAPS ministry while continuing to run a construction business in the Columbus, Georgia area. As the GTC MAPS Director, Jon coordinates teams of workers who make short term trips to Teen Challenge centers in different parts of the world, assisting in construction projects. His office is here to assist in helping teams prepare and plan while lending leadership to the specific project.
 
Jon and Karen are credentialed ministers with the Assemblies of God and serve in Georgia AG District related missions and MAPS ministry positions.  “When I am not on a missions trip with a hammer, I enjoy being on location hunting and participating in outdoor recreation,” shares Jon. “But ultimately I desire to serve Teen Challenge centers around the world so that we might see God move in the lives and hearts of men and women, boys and girls.  We want to see people from every nation, every tribe, and every tongue come to know Jesus.”
  
Jon and Karen have 4 children and have been married for 28 years.  After graduating from Southeastern Bible College in 1984, Jon and Karen served in youth and children's ministry followed by a staff pastor position in Durham, North Carolina.  They relocated to the state of Georgia in 1993 where they were pastors and where Jon began to serve with MAPS on a regular basis.  During this time he established a construction business. His specialty is in structural, foundation areas of supporting older buildings with new foundation support systems.
