These programs use self-awareness tools and activities to enhance your own leadership capabilities. You will learn strategies for continuous development through extensive assessment, group discussions, self-reflection, small group activities and personal mentoring. And because of our strong focus on development planning, which ties program experiences to the context of your workplace, your program will be uniquely about you.

Leadership Mentoring:
Leadership mentoring is designed for the individual who is participating in one of the Center's open-enrollment programs or custom solutions. It is best suited to program participants who do not desire extensive leadership mentoring and would benefit from a combination of individual and classroom learning. Leadership mentoring allows the individual to prepare for and build on the assessment, feedback and goal-setting from the classroom by working closely with a Global Teen Challenge Mentor. It provides encouragement and expertise at a time when it may be difficult to stay focused on goals - and when an appropriate level of support may not be readily available elsewhere.

Benefits:
When provided prior to the classroom experience, one-to-one mentoring can be used to establish the relationship between the mentor and the participant; to help prepare for the learning experience; and even to deliver some initial assessment data and feedback before the individual enters the classroom. When utilized following a classroom experience, leadership mentoring can help the program participant maintain the high energy and momentum of the classroom experience after returning to work. It can also help individuals who would.

Support:
Our mentors provide encouragement and feedback in a confidential, risk-free setting. Participants can review their progress, discuss what is working and what isn't, identify reasons for any setbacks and consider upcoming developmental opportunities.

Expertise:
We can help individuals convert their program experience to practical applications that specifically relate to their own job responsibilities and organizational goals.

Accountability:
We can provide strong motivation to keep participant’s developmental plans on track, challenge them to grow, help them identify priorities and follow through on the goals they set.
