Mike & Kay Zello
Global Teen Challenge Representative

Mike Zello currently serves as the Global Teen Challenge Representative, assisting Teen Challenge centers around the world.

Mike has been associated with Teen Challenge since its beginning in 1958, when he worked under David Wilkerson, the organization’s founder. He has directed programs for over 45 years including 5 years at the original center in Brooklyn, New York and 25 years as the founder and executive director of Teen Challenge of Washington, DC.

Mike served for many years as a member of the Teen Challenge USA National Board of Directors and as the Eastern Regional representative. He was also the senior pastor of New Life Worship Center, a church he pioneered while directing Teen Challenge of Washington, DC/Maryland.

Since 1996 Mike has worked with Global Teen Challenge and assisted in training hundreds of leaders from around the world and helped to establish Teen Challenge programs in 43 countries. From 2007-2010 Mike served as the Global Teen Challenge Regional Representative for Africa.

Mike and his wife Kay live in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. They have 4 children and 11 grandchildren.
